Great article! Dr. Bass is part of the Holy Trinity of personal favorite forensic anthropologists (along with Dr. Maples and Dr. Clyde Snow). I suspect you've already read it but Death's Acre was an exceptional book. Not only chock full of technical info but really entertaining. Bass has a great sense of humor. =)
Corpse by Jessica Snyder Sachs is also a monumentally useful, extremely well-written must-read! Covers forensic anthropology, entomology and botany.
Public health practitioner, anthropologist, and tattooer with a keen interest in health, history, language, science, esoterica, and the vast outdoors. Perpetually curious.
